Govt to hold talks with 108, 102 employees

Lahowal MLA Rituparna Baruah on Tuesday has urged the deprived employees of 108, 102 services to postpone their indefinite strike.

According to MLA Baruah, CM Sarbananda Sonowal has intended to solve their problems.

On September 21, Assam Government to arrange an important meeting with the employees of 108 and 102 services regarding it.

Two representatives from each district will be invited for the meeting. Assam health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Officials of GVK EMRI will be there, Lahowal MLA Rituparna Baruah will play the role of mediator in the talks.

It may be mentioned that few days ago Assam health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma ignored the protest of 108, 102 while speaking to media and said that the government is not accountable for the protest as GVK-EMRI is their boss.

He also added that the strike of 108, 102 workers will compel government to take alternative measure.

Now, the sudden change of Government of Assam has created mystery for the people.
