Gold biscuits worth over Rs 30 lakh recovered from Paltanbazar

Gold biscuits worth more than Rs 30 lakh were recovered by Assam Police at Paltanbazar on May 21. Four biscuits, weighing 950 grams each, were recovered by the Police during a regular check.

One Bikash Tapuria has been apprehended by the Police in relation to gold smuggling, while he was about to enter the railway station.

As per reports, the gold biscuits were being smuggled to Jaipur from Myanmar.

The gold biscuits were delivered to Bikash in Guwahati by one unidentified youth.
