‘Friday for Future’ reaches Guwahati

The 'Friday for Future' movement led by 16 years old Greta Thunberg, has reached Guwahati on Friday. Extending their support to the global movement, the students of JB Law College in the city today organised climate change protests in their campus.

"Climate change is a crisis and we should start treating it as such," said a student of the college. They also planted trees and protested against climate change by singing songs.

Meanwhile, three Norwegian lawmakers have nominated Greta Thunberg, the founder of the climate movement, for the Nobel peace prize. Greta has become a prominent voice in campaigns against climate change.
