Four foreigners released from detention camp

Acting onorders from the Supreme Court, four foreigners have been released from theGoalpara detention camp.

It may benoted that the released foreigners had served more than three years in thecamp.

However,the immigrants would have to abide by certain restrictions after beingreleased.

The fourwho have been released had been biometric examined and were freed after givinga bond of Rs 2 lakh.

They willhave to present themselves at the local police station once in a week.

If theyplan to shift to a new place, the released will have to inform the particularpolice station.

It hasbeen informed that Assam government will release the 335 foreigners detained invarious detention camps in batches.
