Four Assam Candidates Crack UPSC

Four Assam candidates have brought laurels to the state by clearing UPSC mains examination 2019. The candidates are Aranyak Saikia, Tapan Deka, Nibedita Dutta, and Kishore Sutradhar.

Aranyak, who is the son of former DGP Kuladhar Saikia secured 59 position while Tapan Deka ranked 766 position, Nibedita secured 697 position and Kishore ranked 784.

Aranyak cracked the examination for the third time and is presently serving as an IPS officer in the Karnataka Cadre.

A total of 829 candidates cleared the civil services examination the results of which were declared today.

However, the results of 11 students have been kept withheld.
