Former All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) leader Dhruba Das died due to heart attack on Monday morning.

Dhruba was the former Mayor of Raha constituency in Nagaon district and the present President of the Raha Regional Development Committee.

According to sources, his death was unexpected.

AASU along with other political parties and organizations expressed their condolences.
