Flood inundated regions in Teok

Pratidin Bureau

Before the winter comes, once again flood inundated various regions in Teok.

Reportedly, the rising water of Puthimari River had washed away the villages like Moran gaon, Tongani gaon, Deudhai gaon and many more of the Teok region along with more than hundred bighas of paddy field.

Moreover, it has been alleged that the locals have to suffer from flood for the fifth time in the year, due to the embankment, which was broken by the contractor while constructing a concrete bridge.

It may be stated that the road connectivity among villages like Teok-Balma-Naksari has been destroyed due to flood.
