England women’s Cricket team visits Pobitora

After beating team India at the first T20 in Barsapara, England women's national cricket team visited Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary on Tuesday. The team has appreciated the conservation efforts of officials and staff at Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.

The team went for jeep safari in the site accompanied by the forest department officials to see the rhinos and other wildlife there. Earlier, the team was given a warm welcome by senior forest officials at the sanctuary.

Before leaving, Captain Heather Knight while speaking to the media said that "Pobitora is quite an interesting place. Assam is a peace loving state."
