DRI Seizes Gold Biscuit, 5 Detained

In an operation launched by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) at Khanapara, 70 gold biscuits have been seized and apprehended five persons in connection to it.

An official of DRI said that the gold weighs around 11.6 kg and it willcost around 4.5crore in the market.

The gold was being carried from Imphal and the department isinterrogating the persons apprehended during the operation to get additionalinformation.
