In yet another horrific incident, a minor was allegedly raped by a man in Hojai on Saturday. According to reports, the incident took place in Kenduguri village, when the minor, who was a differently-abled, allegedly raped in presence of her father in the house.

The culprit identified as Bhupen Hira was in the influence of alcohol during the incident.

Meanwhile, locals detained the culprit and handed him over to police. Initiating an investigation to the brutal incident, police arrested Bhupen Hira along with the father of the minor.

The locals demanded strict actions against both of them and the victim has been sent for medical examination.
