An alleged ULFA ( I) linkmen has been arrested in Sadia Tinisukia on Saturday suspecting linkage with the Dhola firing on Thursday night. The arrested  ULFA (I)  linkmen named Jintu Gogoi alias Dikla was arrested by Tinisukia police and  taken to Sadia Court today. The alleged linkmen was arrested earlier too, suspecting linkage with ULFA-I.

Earlier on Thursday, five innocent people were gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Dhola's Kherbari of Tinsukia that shocked entire Assam and fueled a turmoil in the state.

Initially, the incident was suspected to be carried out by ULFA (I), however the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) has denied its involvement in the massacre.

The unknown  miscreants are said to have been wearing military uniform according to witnesses.
