Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to visit Nagaland tomorrow

Indian Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Nagaland on a one-day tour on May 20 to assess the security situation of the State and the country along the border areas with Myanmar, Defence officials informed.

The Defence Minister through a Tweet informed, "Scheduled to visit Nagaland tomorrow 20 May 2018. Will interact with the men and officers in different locations around here."

The minister will be accompanied by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Command, Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna during her visit to the State.
