Rupahihat police have arrested a dacoit from the Gunabari region in Rupahihat with the help of the Village Development Party (VDP) on Tuesday evening.

Reportedly, the locals of the region have noticed two youthsin suspected condition. The locals tried to interrogate both of the youths; oneof them had done blank fire and had run away. At that moment, the locals couldnab one of the dacoits and informed to Rupahihat police station in this regard.

Police reached the scene and arrested the dacoit. Moreover,police could seize 25 nos of mobile phones along with a pistol, live bulletsand a sharp weapon from the dacoit.
