Balipara in Sonitpur district recorded its hitherto highest single-day COVID-19 cases today.

30 people tested positive for the contagion today. They were found to be carrying the contagion in Rapid Antigen Tests conducted by the Health Department.

Out of 30, 23 are CISF soldiers, one is a police officer of Chariduar Police Station. Another person is a bank employee. The CISF soldiers and the police officer were engaged in their normal duties before testing positive.
