COVID-19: 50 persons test positive in Hojai

In a shocking turn of events, 50 persons have been tested positive for coronavirus on Monday in Hojai district of Assam.

Among the fifty individuals, four persons have been detected positive in Singari Basti, one in Bidyanagar and one in Krishnanagar.

The four persons Gabro Chowra, Balram Chowra, Shiva Chowra, and Nasib Gerubar who have been tested positive are returnees from Kerala. The one person found in Bidyanagar is Pankaj Chauhan and Prabir Das of Krishnanagar.

With the help and assistance of ASHA health workers and 108 ambulances, these six patients have been admitted to Jogijan COVID-19 hospital.
