Couple held for alleged involvement in online sex racket

In a sensational incident, a couple had been held captive by a group of people in Guwahati's Noonmati.

The local residents have alleged the couple of being involved in an online sex trade.

According to reports, a group of Odisha youths are operating the racket. The accused couple detailed about how one can search for customers online.

It has come to light that the racket looks for customers from Guwahati-Assam.

The incident occurred at a time when they were about to handover a girl to a customer on Friday.

However, after informing the media and the police, the captors had escaped the scene.

Noonmati police have detained the alleged couple with search for more information.
