At a time, when illegal coal syndicateshave been continuously running in the State, the Golaghat Police have seized 3 trucksloaded with coal in Tetelia area on Saturday night.

According to sources, policedetained the drivers and seized some incriminating documents from theirpossession.

Golaghat police officials saidthat the trucks were carrying the coal from Bokajan area to Guwahati. "Thedrivers were unable to provide proper documents against their possession," saida police officer.

The police are currentlyinterrogating the drivers of the trucks.
