CM condemns Dhola firing incident

Condemning the tragic incident of firing that claimed lives of five innocent souls in Tinsukia's Dhola, Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has claimed a section of organisations' provocative statements have led to such incident.

Sonowal also said that this ugly turn of events was only caused due to some of the public representative's instigating remarks.

The Chief Minister informed that Assam Police has been directed to investigate thoroughly into the matter.

Government will be strict in maintaining peace and order said the CM adding that no one will be left out of the stern measures.

It may be noted that the kins of the victims will be compensated with an amount of Rs five lakhs.
