In a sensational incident at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi (LGBI) Airport in Guwahati, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan allegedly committed suicide on Thursday afternoon.

The CISF jawan shot himself with his service rifle. He was on duty during the incident. Azara Police rushed to the spot immediately after the incident.

However, police is yet to ascertain the reason behind the alleged suicide and identity of the jawan has not been revealed.
