Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday attended the premiere show of Rima Das's critically acclaimed Assamese feature film 'Bulbul Can Sing' in Guwahati.

The film is all set to hit the screens across Assam this Friday (September 20).

Bulbul Can Sing is beautifully made by writer, director, producer, and editor Rima Das, and Bulbul's story is endearingly human, following how she and her friends deal with school, relationships, clothes, and families – Bulbul's mother wants her daughter to behave perfectly, while her father hopes she will have a singing career. A generous and warm story of teenage empowerment.
