A blind woman has been allegedly raped on Saturday in Bongaigaon's Abhayapuri.

The accused in this connection has been identified as one Pabitra Roy.

Roy has been arrested and is currently in police custody. Meanwhile, women's civil societies and organizations are demanding severe punishment for the accused.
