In anunfortunate incident, a person in a bid to answer nature's call has been washedaway by the fast-flowing rising waters of the Barak River in Silchar.

Accordingto reports, the person was physically challenged who worked as a night guard ofthe municipality. The person has been identified as Hobi Das.

Theincident took place at Visarjan Ghat.

SDRF and apolice team are now present at the incident spot and carrying out searchoperation.

However, with no reports of Das yet, the find is still on.
