Assam singing sensation Nahid Afrin shines in HSLC exam 2018

Assam's talented and sensational singer Nahid Afrin of Indian Idol Junior fame has passed her High School leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam 2018 with flying colours.

The young singer scored 549 (91.5%) marks in the exams and secured letter marks in all her 6 subjects.

Speaking to Pratidin Time reporter, an elated Nahid said "I am really happy and extremely satisfied with my result. I have experienced a new feeling today and so did my parents. My parents have always supported me and are equally happy with my exam outcome."

"Singing is my best friend. It has helped me a lot to relax and concentrate while preparing for my exams. Songs support me a lot to uplift my mood and help me prepare.  I carried all my books while travelling for shows and did not let my studies get hampered.

The 'Akira' fame singer wishes to continue her further studies by pursuing Science stream and wants to study in Guwahati.
