In a special operation by the Assam Rifles troopers, two cadres belonging to the Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagalim (R) have been arrested and one of their major camps in Changlang district (Arunachal Pradesh) has been busted.

As per reports reaching here, 10 heavily armed militants of NSCN (R) led by self styled Captain Akham Chang are holed up in Namgoi reserve forest near Kharsang in Changlang district.

The Assam Rifles has called in for more reinforcements before engaging the militants. Choppers with night flying ability have kept on standby.
