Retired Chief Engineer and Member technical of Assam State electricity board, Ramesh Chandra Goswami, has passed away on Friday morning due to age-related ailments. He was 85.

He breathed his last at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) at around 8 am.

Goswami was part of the Road Construction Department (RCD).

He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
