A dead body of a person was recovered floating in Numaligarh's Dhanashree river on Sunday.

As per reports, the deceased youth has been identified as one Dipankar Das, an employee of Bokakhat's Sub-Divisional Election Office. It is suspected that the youth was murdered.

It may be stated Dipankar Das had been missing since Saturday evening, one day before his wedding.
