Assam Flood: Uttarakhand Govt to Donate Rs. 5Cr

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat took stock of the prevailing flood situation in Assam and announced that his government would contribute Rs. 5crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Talking over phone with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Rawat expressed empathy for the flood-affected people and appreciated the government's relief and rescue operations.

The Uttarakhand CM also assured full support to the Assam government to mitigate the devastation caused by flood in the state.
