Pre-poll violence hits Assam ahead of the Lok Sabha elections after a Homeopathic doctor was killed by miscreants at Nathpara in Chapar, this evening.

Raben Rai was riding back from market when miscreants shot at him.

Police suspect four people were involved in the shooting but say it could be more.

Miscreants used 7.5 mm pistol – as per reports.
