Another Cash for Job scam | This time, in Assam Police

With the APSC Cash for Job scam creating waves in Assam, another such scam has came to light; this time, in Assam Police. An official of the Dergaon Armed Police Training Centre (APTC) in 2016 had allegedly taken an amount of two lakh rupees from an individual, promising him of a job.

After the alleged official, Mohan Nath, failed to provide the assured job, the youth filed a case against Nath at Dergaon Police Station. Subsequently, Nath has been arrested by Dergaon Police.

It may be mentioned here that another such incident had come to light, where one Samed Choudhury had allegedly procured three lakh rupees from two youths from Nagaon assuring them of jobs in Assam Police.

Further investigation is being carried out by the Police regarding the matter.
