Pratidin Bureau

Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi condemned the heinous act of mass murder at Dhola in Tinisukia  on Thursday and alleged the instigating statements of Hojai MLA Shiladiyta Deb led to the massacre. Gogoi also  questioned the statements made by State BJP President Ranjit Das.

The Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal didn't take necessary steps after the provocative communal remarks  made by Pro talks ULFA leader Jiten Dutta and Mrinal Hazarika and Hojai MLA Shiladitya Deb, said Gogoi

Gogoi also demanded security for the Bengali people in the state  and demanded compensation of Rs 20 lakh for the families of the victim.

Assam is under turmoil due to the wrong policies undertaken by the state government, said Gogoi.

The peasant leader demanded the suspension of Sadia SP Prasanta Sagar Changmai and Tinisukia DC Oinam Sarankumar Singh.

Akhil also said the Sarbananda Sonowal's home department have completely failed in maintaining peace and order in the State and urged Sonowal to give up the department.

Earlier today State BJP President   Ranjit Das called a press conference and claimed political connection with the Dhola massacre. Das said, "The fruits of Congress's  sins are being bored by BJP. BJP has always aimed at uniting people whereas   Congress aimed at dividing".
