AASU calls for 100 hour ONGC Bandh

The Sivasagar unit of AASU has called for a 100 hour ONGCbandh starting from 5 this morning.

The protestors have launched a sit-in strike at the ONGCOffice in the town, prohibiting the movement of vehicles and preventingemployees from entering the office.

AASU has called for various reasons such as deceiving the indigenousunemployed and opposing privatisation of the oil fields.
