ADGP (Law and Order) of Assam, GP Singh today announced on Twitter the number of Assam Police personnel who have contracted the COVID-19 virus so far. He also shared the recovery toll, besides highlighting the number of personnel still in quarantine. Singh also said that those in quarantine were in good health.  

He tweeted, "As on July 2nd – @assampolice95 personnel tested Covid positive out of whom 19 have recovered, 1112 are in quarantine. All are in good health. @DGPAssamPolice@nhm_assam@CMOfficeAssam"
