4 Minor Boys Escape From Children’s Home In Jorhat

Four minor boys have reportedly escaped from a children's home in Jorhat on Sunday.

While two of them were from Nagaland's Mokokchung, the other two hailed from Assam. All of them are aged between 10-13 years old.

The children's home in question is located in Jorhat's Choladhara area.

Tukumoni Dutta, the superintendent of the children's home alerted local police after they were not found in their respective rooms.

According to police, the minors escaped the children's home early morning on Sunday by removing the grill of a damaged window.

Notably, one of the older boys had also ran away several times earlier but was caught and brought back.

Search for the minor boys are on and a case has been filed in the Jorhat police station under section 363 of the IPC.
