34 Tripura Schools Serve Show Cause Notice

The Tripuragovernment has issued show cause notice to the heads of 34 schools as not asingle student passed this year's Class ten board exams and have started toreview the performance of the teachers of the institutions.

Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday said that the government would go for disciplinary proceeding against the head of the schools if their replies were found unsatisfactory. Action will be taken against those teachers after the review if found guilty.

The Ministersaid that they have asked the teachers to take extra effort especially for thestudent appearing board exam and if necessary to conduct remedial classes. The ministeralso asked to review properly as why the students of these schools have notpassed.
