3 Missing Kids From Mayong Rescued By Assam Police

The three school students who went missing Friday night have been rescued after 17 hours by Assam police. All three of them are residents of Ouguri Village in Mayong.

As per sources, Panikhaiti Police have rescued all three of the missing children from Taribagan of Panikhaiti village.
Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Assam DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta, who were also present in Mayong to supervise the search operation, keenly followed the case.

The three of them were first kept at the Panikhaiti Police Station and later taken to their homes at Ouguri, sources said.
The three school going students who were identified as Dimpimoni Saikia, Nayan Saikia and Sumi Saikia, went missing on Friday.

Earlier yesterday, an FIR was filed at the Mayong Police Station after which immediate search operation was carried out by the Assam Police.

Assam DGP, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta shared the information in his tweet that reads, "The 3 children who went missing from Mayong yesterday, have been rescued near Panikhaiti. This operation was keenly followed by Hon. CM @himantabiswa and I too was in Mayong to supervise the search for the missing kids. My best wishes to the @assampolice team involved."
