Noted writer Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi on Friday inaugurated the 20th edition of North East Book Fair at the Assam Engineering Institute Field in Chandmari, Guwahati. The mega event will come to an end on 20th November.

Hundreds of stalls and publication groups have been participating in the book fair; which is being organized by All Assam Publishers & Book Sellers Association (AAPBA).

Among others noted writer Kanak Sen Deka, AASU advisor Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharya was also present during the inauguration programme. The organizers are expecting a huge crowd during the 12-day grand book fair.
