2 Arrested In Boko For Hunting Egrets

Two bird hunters were reportedly arrested at the Satabari area of Bakapara in Boko, Assam on Friday morning.

According to sources, the two arrested bird hunters caught 12 Egrets, locally called 'Bogoli' in the Assamese language from the paddy fields.

The local people of Boko on Friday caught the two bird hunters while hunting Egrets in the paddy fields and handed them over to the forest department officials.

The two arrested persons are identified as Kumur Ali and Chalim Uddin of Chhaigaon.

As alleged by the locals, the two bird hunters have been hunting birds for a really long time in Boko.
