1 Elephant, 2 Wild Boars, 1 Swamp Deer Die Of Electrocution In Kaziranga National Park

In yet another instance of electrocution, an elephant, two wild boars, and one swamp deer tragically died after an electric post fell upon them and were killed on the spot in Kaziranga National Park on Monday.

The incident happened at Burapahar Rang under Hati camp of the national park today evening.

On Sunday, two such incidents were reported in Assam.

In Guwahati's Garchuk, an adult elephant died of electrocution after it came in contact with an exposed electric wire.

On the same day, another elephant died of electrocution in Golaghat after it came in contact with an 11 KV live electric wire in Dholagaon region.
