An unidentified body of a man was recovered on Monday under mysterious circumstances near the foot bridge at Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati.

The body was recovered at around 3 pm today near the Kamakhya Gate foot bridge.

The person reportedly dropped dead on the spot after suffering a stroke while drinking water.

The identity of the person is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
