There are speculations going on in the political atmosphere about Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav joining Congress and contesting from one of the constituencies in Delhi.

According to reports, Rajpal might be fielded from the North East seat in New Delhi against BJP's Manoj Tiwari. On Thursday, he met former Delhi CM and senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit at her residence in the national capital to discuss his candidature.

Notably, Congress president Rahul Gandhi decided not to form an alliance with Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP in Delhi for the coming LS polls.
